Sula Costa was born in Anápolis-Go, Brazil and lived for 13 years in New York, where she worked with international film production companies and the Intergovernmental Renewable Energy Organization (IREO). With degrees in publicity and journalism , and marketing, she has accumulated solid experience in communication. She is the founder of the World Art Show Brazil Association, focused on the global promotion of culture and art, and Costa Consulting Co., a company specializing in strategic consulting, planning, and customized marketing.

In 2023, Sula Costa received the Best of Cinema Award, granted by the World Academy of Letters of Humanity, a recognition that highlighted her growing influence on the Brazilian film scene. That same year, she was honored with the title of Ambassador of Peace at the Personalité 2023 awards ceremony by ACLAB – the Brazilian Academy of Sciences, Letters and Arts – receiving a sash and certificate in recognition of her tireless work promoting art, culture, and social impact.
On October 11, 2024, she was honored with the A.C.L.A.B 2024 Oscar as Outstanding Journalist of the Year at the Virgínia Ometto Theater in Iracemápolis (SP). The recognition came from the president of the academy, highlighting her career and commitment to the dissemination of Brazilian culture and art.
She founded the World Art Show Brazil Association (2024), standing out in cultural promotion.
Elected vice-president of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences, Letters and Arts (A.C.L.A.B.), reinforcing her role as a cultural leader.
